2018 in Review

This has BY FAR been my busiest year ever.

In addition to making more quilts, writing more patterns, and spending more time answering emails this year, my kids are getting older and now have activities and more homework. I have started doing some math tutoring, I have weekly responsibilities working with the youth at my church, and I have made actual homemade dinner more times than ever before in my life. My little pattern business has grown steadily and I have worked really hard to make my patterns as thorough, clear, concise, and visually appealing as possible ;) We also became foster parents and now have a 4 year old little girl living with us (I will probably be sharing more about this later).

It has been amazing, invigorating, and exhausting.

In total I have -
Sunnyside Ave Even-Steven Quilt - Kitchen Table Quilting

Released 13 new patterns

Santa Fe Quilt - Made with The Glenda Quilt Pattern by Kitchen Table Quilting

Redesigned 4 patterns

Sunrise Katie Quilt - Kitchen Table Quilting

Made 47 total quilts (that number includes a couple of wall quilts, some baby quilts, lots of lap quilts, a couple twin quilts, and 3 that I haven't had time to share yet)

Stepping Stones (not yet blogged)
I-Spy Olivia Quilt (not yet blogged)
Triangle Peaks (not yet blogged)

My March Giant Block Quilt

Written 12 new tutorials

This next year is definitely going to involve some changes. I plan to make fewer quilts (although I am sure I will still make too many) and focus on writing new tutorials and patterns.

Because I am increasingly busy, my sewing time is increasingly more precious. I want to be more selective about what I sew and which patterns I write - 2019 will be about quality of quantity.

Happy New Year! Thank you for all of your support and kindness this past year.

    1. Oh trust me, I’m exhausted! I have spent the last couple weeks (mostly) away from my sewing room and it has been a nice break, but I miss it!
